ProServe II - Pest Control Service Management Software

This product is our 3rd generation software program designed for the pest control service industry released in 2000, this product was our flagship for more than 12 years... It's still available because it's a proven product purchased and used by more than 250 users over the years and will run on the latest Windows 7 operating system. It's a great product for small companies and new startups, but we recommend that you consider our new flagship ProServe 2012 over this product.

Considerations to help you choose which product is right for you...

We still support this product, but we have no plans to enhance or improve it with updates or upgrades.
The current version is v2.01e released 04/01/2009...
It's very easy to download and install... Especially installing on lab-tops.
It's upgradable to our new flagship product at anytime.
It's less expensive initially than our new flagship product, but not by much...
(when you consider upgrading later, it's actually more expensive by $55.00)
It will install and run on the latest Windows 7 operating system, we do not know yet if it will run on the next Windows 8.

At this point it may sound like we do not recommend this product, the truth is we don't, we would rather you consider our new flagship product ProServe 2012... BUT - depending on your industry and requirements, this product may be the best solution to fit your needs.

Design:

The design of this version is based on setting up each customers service accounts with the type of service, all the basic information about each account and how often it should be worked. This information is stored in the Service Account Master file. You then run what is called Service Creation (Recurring) to create all your work for the next week or month depending on the time frame you choose. The Work Orders that are created is based on the recurring information for each account located in the Service Account File. This procedure actually creates Work Order records that are stored in a Open Work Order Master File. You then schedule, re-schedule, print work order tickets, route sheets etc.. based on that Open Work Order File. The concept is to pre-schedule your service accounts by locating an open slot on a route during setup, so the recurring procedure can create your work in advance to then be worked as scheduled or re-scheduled...

Work Orders:

The Recurring Service Order Creation is designed around your Department File, Service Codes are assigned to a department, therefore you select a Department Code to create work orders for any given month or week. This allows you to create your work for each department at different times. This version is not based on last service date unless you tell it to for each service account. It's based on how often it's setup to recur. Example: If you setup an account to recur every 2nd Tuesday of every Month at 10:00am for Route 002. This version will create a Work Order with a unique WO number for this account for the exact date that fits the 2nd Tuesday of the Month your running for.

Compared with ProServe 2012...

Both ProServe II and our new flagship product ProServe 2012 are designed with the same basic core concept as described above, both are pre-scheduled recurring based systems. The main difference is ProServe II is developed in Visual FoxPro that uses embedded FoxPro databases while the newest ProServe 2012 is developed using Visual Studio and uses SQL databases.
